Instant ounce- and mL-per-bottle cheat sheet (16 oz, 24 oz, 32 oz, 1 L Foam Cannon, 4 Gal Bucket) plus brand ratios—download directly or email a copy to your desktop.

Pro Technique Tip — Water First + Distilled Water for Rinseless & Interior Bottles: Always fill your spray bottle or foam cannon with water first and add concentrate second so surfactants don't foam over. Use distilled water in 16 oz–32 oz spray bottles (ONR, Armour Hero, interior APC) so minerals never spot glass or degrade shelf life.

1. Quick-Reference Container Dilution Cheat Sheet (US Oz & mL)

Formula: Total Container Volume ÷ (Dilution Parts + 1) = Concentrate Needed. Always fill your bottle or bucket with water first, then add the chemical concentrate last so foaming surfactants don't overflow.

3. Signature Detail Lab Pro Concoctions & Pairing Systems

Recipe A: Pre-Wash Road Film & Bug Strip Foam Cannon Mix

  • Container: 1 Liter (33.8 oz) Adam's Polishes Standard Foam Cannon filled with 28 oz of warm water first.
  • The Mix: Add 1.5 oz (45 mL) Koch-Chemie Active Foam (Af) + 0.5 oz (15 mL) Armour Clean APC.
  • Why It Works: Combining high-clinging sandalwood snow foam with a light citrus APC boost melts winter de-icer film, diesel soot, and bug splatter off lower rocker panels during a 4-minute touchless dwell—so 85% of abrasive grit rinses off before your wash mitt ever touches the clear coat.

Recipe B: Winter Hoseless Rinseless + Drying Aid System

Recipe C: 3-Step German Paint Correction Pad & Compound Matrix

4. Four Golden Rules of Chemical Mixing

  1. Water First, Chemical Second: Always fill your spray bottle, foam cannon, or bucket with water first, then pour in the chemical concentrate and swirl gently. Adding high-foaming soap before hitting it with a hose fills the container with suds instead of liquid.
  2. Use Distilled Water for Rinseless, Clay Lube & Interior Bottles: Mixing Armour Hero, ONR, or interior APCs with distilled water prevents hard-water mineral spotting and keeps diluted bottles shelf-stable for months.
  3. Never Mix Acidic & Alkaline Concentrates in the Same Bottle: Keep acidic descalers (Reactivation Shampoo RS) separate from high-pH degreasers (Alkali Wheel Cleaner) so they don't neutralize each other.
  4. Never Let Active Chemistry Dry on Hot Surfaces: Always work on cool panels out of direct sunlight, and rinse or buff within the manufacturer's dwell window.
